The National Convening is our flagship annual gathering, bringing together hundreds of values-aligned senior leaders of color for three days of connection, reflection, and collective advancement. Our 2026 Convening marked our 10th Anniversary, centered on the theme There’s No Place Like EdLoC.

This year’s Convening was a homecoming in the truest sense. It was a space to return to one another, to be fully seen, and to honor both the individual and collective journeys that have shaped this Network over the past decade. Together, we reflected on what has been built, acknowledged what has been weathered, and began to more clearly define what comes next.

For ten years, EdLoC has brought leaders of color together to lead with clarity, connect with purpose, and advance work that drives meaningful outcomes for young people of color. The Convening serves as a critical moment to strengthen those connections, deepen alignment, and catalyze the partnerships and ideas that will shape what comes next.

The power of this Network lies not only in what we’ve built, but in what we are continuing to build together.

There’s No Place Like EdLoC.
