Innovation for Learning Fund Project: CivicScape: Mapping Power with Local Data and Student Voice

CivicScape is an AI-powered platform that helps educators transform local civic and climate data into engaging, standards-aligned classroom lessons. The platform enables teachers to create place-based learning experiences that help students explore issues affecting their own neighborhoods, including housing, environmental justice, and public health. By strengthening students' data literacy, civic reasoning, and critical thinking skills, CivicScape prepares young people to become informed community leaders while making high-quality, locally relevant instruction more accessible for educators.
