Jin-Soo Huh
Senior Director of Partnerships & Innovation
Jin-Soo Huh is the Senior Director of Partnerships & Innovation at Education Leaders of Color (EdLoC), where he leads the organization’s work to support nonprofit leaders of color in building sustainable, resilient organizations and navigating strategic partnerships, shared services, and long-term growth. An experienced educator, systems leader, and innovation strategist, Jin-Soo specializes in designing learning communities, strengthening organizational capacity, and connecting stakeholders.
Before joining EdLoC, Jin-Soo served as a Senior Partner at FullScale Learning and The Learning Accelerator, where he led national initiatives focused on educational technology, instructional materials, and innovative school models. In that role, he co-led the School Teams AI Collaborative in partnership with Leading Educators, a first-of-its-kind learning network of 80 educators across 19 schools. He also led the development of the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education’s EdTech Systems Guide: Equity-Driven Selection, Implementation, and Evaluation, and supported cohorts of districts in strengthening their edtech system.
Jin-Soo brings over a decade of experience working directly in schools and school systems. He began his career as a middle and high school math teacher in Prince George’s County Public Schools, where he helped implement one of the nation’s earliest 1:1 iPad programs. He went on to lead blended and personalized learning initiatives at KIPP Chicago, Alpha Public Schools, and Distinctive Schools, supporting the development and scaling of student-centered instructional models and providing coaching, professional development, and implementation support.
Jin-Soo’s leadership is grounded in a commitment to advancing equity, building multiracial coalitions, and ensuring leaders of color have the tools, relationships, and strategic clarity to thrive. He has held civic and community leadership roles, including serving as the chair of Chicago’s Mayoral Advisory Council on LGBTQ+ Issues, as the Midwest Caucus Chair for the LGBTQ+ Victory Fund’s Campaign Board, and as an active member of Asian Americans Advancing Justice–Chicago and Asian American Midwest Progressives.
A Southern California native now based in Chicago, Jin-Soo holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy and Political Science from Duke University, and a Master's of Education from George Mason University.
