EdLoC Member Listening Session 1 : White House Conference on Hunger, Nutrition, and Health

Education Leaders of Color (EdLoC) is hosting a White House Conference on Hunger, Nutrition, and Health listening session as an opportunity to hear your thoughts, ideas, and solutions to improve food and nutrition inequity in our nation. Specifically, we want to hear about the critical role schools play in addressing student hunger and nutrition, and the cross-collaboration opportunities and efforts that can foster access to healthier, sustainable food that young people of color need to have a chance to learn and thrive.

Ideas and experiences shared in the listening session will help inform a national strategy that will be announced at the White House Conference on Hunger, Nutrition and Health in September 2022. The conference is part of an effort to end hunger and increase healthy eating and physical activity by 2030.

Please join us and share your thoughts on addressing food insecurity and nutrition. Space is limited to 20 participants.
